Add a link
Put a link on your page, choose how it looks and move it to the right place.
Checked against the app on
At the end of this your page has a new link, in the place and style you want.
Add it
- Open Build.
- Choose Add a block, then Link. You can also type "link" in the search at the top of the list.
- Fill in Title, the words on the button.
- Paste the address into Goes to. It should start with https://. An email address works as mailto:you@example.com and a phone number as tel:+447700900000.
- If you like, add a Line underneath.
New blocks go to the top of the page. The preview on the right shows it straight away, and it saves by itself.
Choose a style
Style has four choices:
- Button, the usual full width button.
- Feature, a bigger button for the thing you most want tapped.
- Tile, a half width tile with a picture. Two tiles next to each other sit side by side. Add a Tile picture.
- Text link, a quiet line of text, good for small print.
Move it
- Drag the handle on the left of the block up or down.
- Or open the block and choose Up or Down.
To take a link off the page without deleting it, switch it off with the toggle on its row. It shows as Hidden. Duplicate and Delete are at the bottom of the open block. More in Move, hide or delete a block.
More for a link
- Test a second title. Half your visitors see the second title. Insights shows which gets more taps, under Testing two titles.
- Send people by country. Visitors in the countries you choose go to a different address, such as the right store.
- Show it on dates you choose. See Schedule a block.
If it doesn't work
- "Start with https://, mailto: or tel:". The address is missing its beginning. Copy it again from your browser's address bar.
- The link doesn't show on your page. Check its toggle is on and it has no schedule that has ended. Then see Changes aren't showing on my page.
