Put your page in your Instagram bio
Your address in your Instagram bio, with visits from Instagram counted properly.
Checked against the app on
Plan: every plan.
- In the editor, choose Share at the top right, then Copy.
- In Instagram, go to your profile, tap Edit profile, then Links, then Add link, and paste it. The steps, checked against Meta's help centre, are in How to add a link in bio on Instagram.
- Do the same on TikTok and anywhere else you post. See the guides for TikTok and YouTube.
Instagram and TikTok often hide where a visitor came from, so Insights can't tell. For an exact count, give each app its own link:
- Open Settings, then the Sharing tab.
- Under Short links, open A bio link for each app.
- Copy the Instagram one (your address with
/igon the end) into your Instagram bio, the TikTok one into TikTok, and so on. They all open the same page.
If it doesn't work
- The link opens "Page not found": check the whole address was pasted. If you changed your page name more than 30 days ago, the old address has stopped working. Paste the new one.
- Instagram visits show under another source in Insights: use the
/iglink from step 3 above.
